。ミエナイツバサ。

This is my 1st time attending なつまつり.

The event was on 22nd August 2009, Saturday =)

We all gathered in school before setting out for the festival =)

Got our red festival shirt - to identify us as volunteers =)

Was in the same team as Valentina and Summer, with Desmond せんぱい (Senior) as our team leader.

Reached Japanese Primary School ( Changi) in quite a short timing.

We started by setting up tables and chairs around the destinated area. =)

Then we wrapped the tables with the plastic sheets given. It wasn't as easy as it seemed to be.

Under the basking sun, the job was woo~

Got slightly sunburnt after that XD

Then we all went for our lunch cum dinner. Was starving by then. Then we all got our food.
It looks おいしい (delicious). Then we all said...いただきます [i-ta-da-ki-masu] ( Thanks for the food) and munch munch~

It was delicious ^^ Then... we said something.. i forgot... XD

Then off we went for our free and easy time XD

There's alot of people around. Quite alot of people rented ゆかた [yukata] .

I wanted to wear too TT

But nvm... maybe i'll get one on my own next time =P

yeah... then went to the gathering base to watch performances. そらわきれいですね~

Yeah... Then our previous batch and the 3rd yearせんぱい performed. Nice leh~

Ya.. then it was 8.30pm le... Need to gather back at our base =(

Didn't get to join in the traditional dance. =(ざんねんです =(

Yeah... then the rest all came... Then we set out for our last duty. That is to clear all the rubbish around the campus X_X

There were lots and lots of rubbish .. OMG

We cleared till X_X

But anyways =) It was fun ^^

Then our final task was to roll back the big big mats that were placed on the ground.
The mats were really big X_X But teamwork solves it all ^^

Then we were finally done. A debrief was given and we headed for home.

Was totally shagged. But... there are lots of photos to be kept as memories ^^ even though something unpleasant happened. =X
